I’ve been getting soccer trophies at K2 for years, and I’ve always given a good review. This time there is no way I can. It’s just ridiculous. Here was the process: I called Kate to personally to ask if it was possible to have an engraving plate NOT be attached to the trophy when sent. No problem, they say. So, I place the order and in the notes section reiterate that the engraving plate is not to be attached to the trophy. Then, I send in an email with engraving instructions. Again, I ask that the engraving plate not be attached to the trophy. OK, that’s three times now. Overkill I know, but I wanted to make sure it was right because I have never done it that way before. And ..... yes, you guessed it! There was the trophy when I open the box with the engraving plate securely attached. Really??? I mean, come on! There are a lot of choices out there for trophies that offer free engraving. When ordering from states away, and obviously when timing is an issue, you should expect that your order is correct. There is no time to return and have the order fixed. Contemplating now the continuation of my long-standing relationship with K2.
